Participants will learn the foundations of non-directive play therapy from a child-centered perspective. Using the theoretical foundations of child-centered play therapy, participants will learn how to intentionally select toys and materials for use in play therapy settings, how to "be" in the playroom as a therapist, and how to respond throughout all stages of therapy with children and their caregivers.
